CURVE, Pa. - Monkeys dressed as cowboys, riding dogs and herding sheep. Giant, inflatable animal representations of your favorite athletes. Mascots in a heated race for the coveted election to the office of Commander of Mischief. It's not a dream. It's another homestand in Curve, Pa.

The Curve welcome in the New Britain Rock Cats and Akron Aeros beginning on Tuesday, June 19th at Peoples Natural Gas Field. Tuesday's 7 p.m. series opener with the Rock Cats, Double-A affiliates of the Minnesota Twins, kicks off with an appearance by the Cowboy Monkeys (a.k.a. Team Ghost Riders) who have taken the Minor League Baseball world by storm. Featuring cowboy-clad monkeys riding dogs and herding sheep, teams of primate-canine duos will take the field in Curve, Pa. and dazzle those in attendance throughout the night with their one-of-a-kind performance. Tuesday night is also a Two-for-Tuesday presented by Atlantic Broadband with all fans able to get two tickets, hot dogs, and small popcorns for the price of one.

To follow up a jaw-dropping opener, the Curve will dazzle minds with Wednesday's postgame fireworks show to follow a 7 p.m. contest. The middle game with New Britain is also another installment of this year's What If Wednesday slate as the Curve ponder the night's theme: What if Mascots were Movie Stars? The first 1,000 fans of all ages through the ballpark gates will receive one of four Mascot Movie Posters, takeoffs on famous films featuring Curve mascots, thanks to ThePrinters.com. Wednesday is also a 4-Pack Wednesday presented by WALY 103.9 where fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs, and four regular sodas for as low as $35 on Tyrone Community Night.

Thursday night's 7 p.m. finale with the Rock Cats is a Thirsty Thursday (tm) presented by ROCKY 104.9 with specially priced select 16-ounce drafts and half-priced regular sodas. Plus, it's a Bonus FREE Kids Club Game presented by Galliker's. All kids 12 and under can get in FREE if they sign up for the FREE Galliker's Kids' Club anytime - even on the day of the game!

On Friday, the Curve welcome their division-rival Akron Aeros to the ballpark on a Freebie Friday with the first 1,000 fans in attendance receiving a Curve Sling Bag. The weekend lid-lifter with the Aeros is also a T.G.I. Friday's Mug Club Night where 250 Curve fans ages 21 and over will receive a T.G.I. Friday's Mug Club mug as they exit the ballpark. After the game, fans can head over to T.G.I. Friday's located off Plank Road to join the Extra Innings After Party with two Curve players.

Saturday's action starts early at the ballpark with the Touch-A-Truck Event benefitting the Nehemiah Project from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. The first of its kind in Curve, Pa., this unique event lets youngsters see, hear, and experience all of the big trucks and equipment they see on the roads every day including fire trucks, bulldozers, dump trucks, and more. Plus, the truck drivers and operators will be on-hand to supervise and interact with kids and parents alike. Touch-A-Truck will include a one-hour quiet period from 1-2 p.m. for children with special needs.

Saturday night, the ZOOperstars bring their hilarious act to Curve, Pa. with their animalistic superstars like Harry Canary, Nomar Garciaparrot, Yao Flamingo Squidney Crosby and others who are scheduled to appear. The Saturday night 6 p.m. game is another Curve, Pa. Blue Out Saturday with Curve players wearing blue jerseys to raise awareness of child abuse in support of Prevent Child Abuse Pennsylvania as well as a Scout Night at the ballpark. Fans are encouraged to wear blue in support of the cause, as well.

The Curve and Aeros, affiliates of the Cleveland Indians, meet for their third game of the series on Sunday night at 6 p.m. with the Curve's traditional Sunday postgame fireworks to follow presented by Panera Bread. Fans should be sure to make their way down on to the field from 5-5:20 p.m. when they arrive to take advantage of the pregame catch on the field.

As always, kids will run the bases following each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday game.

This homestand concludes on Monday with the second edition of the Curve's summer-long Mascot Campaign Button Set Giveaway to the first 1,000 fans. The Pirate Parrot will also be in attendance for Monday night's game on the first stop on his third annual Cruise for a Cure. The Parrot's bike odyssey across the Keystone State will take him through Altoona and State College in an effort to raise awareness and funding for prostate cancer research.

The series finale with the Aeros is another Mirror Monday presented by the Altoona Mirror where Curve fans get $3 Grandstand tickets with a coupon from the front page of the sports section in that day's Altoona Mirror.
