
Law Enforcement Night Fundraising and Event Details Announced

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release
MANCHESTER, NH - On Thursday night, the Fisher Cats are hosting their sixth annual Law Enforcement Night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. Prior to and during their game with the Reading Phillies, the Fisher Cats will host several activities to salute the law enforcement community while raising funds to support several law enforcement agencies. The following information details the elements of the night.

Fundraising
There are two main fundraising efforts taking place on Law Enforcement Night.
50% of all ticket sales will benefit the officers and their families directly involved in the Manchester and Greenland incidents this spring. Tickets can be purchased online at www.nhfishercats.com, by phone at (603) 641-2005, or at the Box Office. The Fisher Cats will wear special law enforcement jerseys that will be auctioned with proceeds benefiting the Manchester Police Athletic League. Online bidding is currently underway at www.nhfishercats.com.An autographed, 30"x40" Cam Neely framed print is being auctioned online, courtesy of the Ted Williams Museum, and proceeds will benefit the officers and their families directly involved in the Manchester and Greenland incidents this spring. Additional fundraising elements for the officers and their families include a 50/50 raffle and a Manchester Police Wives bakesale.
Presentation of the Officer Michael Briggs Community Hero Award
Since 2007, the award has honored Manchester officer Michael Briggs, who was killed in the line of duty in 2006. The award recognizes a citizen who has displayed a commitment to community service. The award winner will be announced and recognized prior to the game.
Entertainment
In addition to postgame Atlas Fireworks, Law Enforcement Night will feature several additional entertainment elements.
New Hampshire Police Association Pipes and Drums will perform in front of the Samuel Adams Bar & Grill beginning at 6:05 PM before moving on-field for pre-game ceremoniesThe NHPA will honor one deserving New Hampshire citizen by presenting him with a lifetime, honorary membership to the organization.Portsmouth detective Kristyn Bernier will have a vocal performance on the field A Manchester K9 officer and his K9 partner will showcase their tactics and skills in an on-field demonstration.Several Police Honor Guards will present the colors for the National AnthemOfficers from motorcycle units across the state will circle the field and stop behind home plate prior to the presentation of the Officer Michael Briggs Community Hero Award.
