
Clark Named Pitcher of the Week

BOWIE, Md. - Baysox starting pitcher Zach Clark has been named Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for the week ending Sunday, June 17. Clark is the first Baysox pitcher to win the award since Mike Ballard won it for the week ending July 18, 2011.
Clark went 1-0 on the week with a 0.00 ERA over 7.0 innings pitched. The right-hander walked four batters and struck out seven during the week. He shut out Portland Sea Dogs over seven innings Wednesday and allowed just two hits in the win. On the season, Clark is 4-4 with a 3.01 ERA in 11 starts with the Baysox.
