Belleville Bulls News Release
BELLEVILLE, ON - The Belleville Bulls and the Belleville General Hospital Foundation are excited to announce today that the Scotiabank Pink in the Rink event will take place on Saturday February 21, 2014. Pink in the Rink is a hockey event that raises funds for cancer in communities across North America.
Belleville Bulls Director of Business Operations, Andrew Kerik, said, "We were eager to partner with the Belleville General Hospital Foundation. We think that healthcare is very important to every member of this community and to all Bulls fans. We know cancer touches everyone including our players and this is a great opportunity for us to honour hockey moms in our community"
Ana Bento, Scotiabank Community Branch Manager said, "We're excited to be the presenting sponsor for this amazing community event. At Scotiabank we believe it's important to be active in the communities we serve. We encourage bank staff to volunteer and we're always looking for other ways to give back. Pink in the Rink is a perfect fit because it's fun for everyone and raises funds for cancer care in the Quinte region."

"The Scotiabank Pink in the Rink will help to improve cancer care, but it will also honour women in our community who have won their battle, those who are still fighting and remember those who we have lost in the fight."
