Kalamazoo Wings News Release

For the second time in less than a week divisional rivals will square off, as the Kalamazoo Wings travel to the Sears Centre to take on the Chicago Express. Last Saturday, the Express took the inaugural encounter between the teams with a 4-2 victory at the Sears Centre.

Giving up two early goals, the K-Wings fought back to tie the game last Saturday with a pair of goals 35 seconds apart, however, the Express responded late in the contest with two goals of their own to secure the win. Brandon Svendsen, who has six points (4 goals, 2 assists), leads the team in scoring.

Tonight will be game two of a five-game home stand for the Express, who are currently 1-1-0-0 during the stretch. With a record of 2-1-0-0, Chicago has an identical record with Kalamazoo and both teams are tied for the top spot in the North Division.
