Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Making their lone regular season trip to the Sunshine State, the Kalamazoo Wings are in Estero, Florida to battle the Florida Everblades in the first of three meetings this week. Last season, the K-Wings were 2-2-0-1 against the 'Blades and were 1-1-0-1 at the Germain Arena.
After two straight contests at Wings Stadium, the K-Wings will begin a stretch that will take them away from Vanrick Drive for four games. Tonight is the first meeting of the season for the K-Wings against an opponent outside their division. Last season, Kalamazoo was 11-4-1-2 versus teams from the South Division.
Florida begins the week in the second place in the South Division, three points behind division leader, the Gwinnett Gladiators. The Everblades are led by forward Alex Imbeault, who has seven points in five games and has earned points in four straight contests, including goals in three straight. .

On the Road Again
The K-Wings will begin a four-game road swing tonight against the Florida Everblades. Kalamazoo will play three straight contests at the Germaine Arena, where they went 1-1-0-1 last season.
Lighting the Lamp
Forwards Trent Daavettila and Kory Karlander have had a productive first three games of the season. Both players start the week on a three-game goal and point streaks.
Solid Debut
Rookie forward Jordan Fulton is adjusting well to professional hockey. Fulton starts the week on a three-game point streak.
Similar Endings
The K-Wings have had their share of overtime/shootout contests. Including last year's playoffs, four of the K-Wings last five games, including two this season, have ended in either overtime or a shootout.
