
Ontario Receives Caffaro in Trade

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced that have received defenseman Lane Caffaro in a trade with the Idaho Steelheads in exchange for future considerations.
Caffaro, 26, started his professional hockey career with the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins (AHL) during the 2008-09 season immediately following his fourth year with Union College (ECAC). The defenseman from Slave Lake, Alberta appeared in four games with the Penguins, recording one assist and six penalty minutes. Caffaro split the 2009-10 season between the Penguins and the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL). He finished the season with a combined 14 points (2g, 12a) and 62 penalty minutes between the clubs.
