Game Preview
With two weeks remaining in the regular season, tonight's contest between the Kalamazoo Wings and Flint Generals could play be a big part in deciding the International Hockey League Playoff picture. On the season, the K-Wings are 8-5-0-0 against the Generals.
With six games remaining in the regular season, including tonight, Kalamazoo trails Flint and Muskegon by three points for third place. The K-Wings, who are riding a six-game home winning streak, will face-off once more in the regular season versus the Generals on April 9th also at Wings Stadium.
Tonight will be a rare April road test for the Generals. Flint will finish the regular season with five of their final seven games at home. Two of Flint's last three road games, including tonight will come at Wings Stadium, with the other occurring on the last day of the season against Fort Wayne.

Welcome Back
The K-Wings will welcome back Head Coach Brian Curran and forward Glenn Detulleo. Curran missed three games last weekend with an injury, while Detulleo was activated off the team's 10-Day IR after missing the past four contests.
Feeling Like a Pepsi
On Monday, defenseman Jamie Vanderveeken was named the IHL's Pepsi Defenseman of the Month for March. In 14 games, Vanderveeken recorded 13 points (4 goals, 9 assists) and was plus-1.
Captain Clutch
Forward Nick Bootland enters the week on a four-game point and goal streak. Besides the four-game streaks, Bootland has earned points in seven of his last eight games.
There's No Place Like Home
Kalamazoo will begin a two-game home stand tonight versus Flint. The K-Wings, who will finish the regular season with four of their final six games at Wings Stadium, are riding a season-high six-game home winning streak and have earned victories in eight of their last ten on home ice.
