For the second time in five days, the two top teams in both the Eastern Conference and the United Hockey League will face-off, as the Kalamazoo Wings travel to the L.C. Walker Arena to battle the Muskegon Fury. Kalamazoo trails the season series with Muskegon with a record of 1-3-1. However, the K-Wings did defeat the Fury 3-2 in their last encounter in Muskegon back on December 2nd.
Unbeaten in their last four games (2-0-2), the K-Wings hit the ice trying to extend their longest unbeaten streak of the season. Tonight also starts a hectic week for Kalamazoo, in which they will play five games over the next six nights, including four straight away from Wings Stadium.
The last time Muskegon tasted defeat was December 2nd against the K-Wings at L.C. Walker Arena. In the 24 days since their last loss, the Fury have gone on a seven-game winning streak, the longest current winning streak in the UHL. Muskegon comes into the game with a 16 point lead over Kalamazoo for the top spot in the conference.

Glenn Detulleo, Lucas Drake, Justin Cross and Scott Dobben all enter tonight's game looking to extend four-game point streaks. In addition, Dobben also has a three-game goal streak coming into this evening's game, which is one-game shy of tying Nick Bootland for the K-Wings' season high.

Tonight starts a strenuous stretch of games for the Kalamazoo Wings. Including this evening's game against Muskegon, Kalamazoo will play five games over the next six days.
