Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the third time in the last seven days, the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the Motor City Mechanics. Tonight will be the final meeting of the regular season between the teams. On the season, the K-Wings are 6-2-1 against the Mechanics, which includes two straight victories over Motor City.
The K-Wings come into the contest on a four-game winning streak. With just four games remaining in the Kalamazoo's regular season, the K-Wings start the night just two points behind the Muskegon Fury for first place honors in both the UHL and the Central Division.
While the K-Wings are looking to continue a streak, the Mechanics are hoping to end one. Motor City comes into the game on a three-game losing streak. With three games remaining in the regular season, Motor City's magic number to clinch a playoff spot is five points.

Karlander Ties Franchise Mark
Kalamazoo's Kory Karlander, who recorded a hat trick last night against Port Huron, tied a K-Wings UHL franchise record. Karlander's first goal, which proved to be the game-winner, tied the K-Wings record for most game-winners in a season (6). The record is held by four players including Tyler Willis, who tied the record earlier this season.
Rolling Along
Forwards Tyler Willis and Jason Deitsch both enter the game on lengthy point streaks. Willis, who recorded his 300th career point last night, is on a K-Wings high eleven-game point streak, while Deitsch, who has recorded a point in 30of his last 31 games, is on a ten-game point streak.
The 300 Club
Forward Nick Bootland is nearing a personal milestone. Bootland enters tonight's game just two points shy of 300 for his career.
Against Their Own
Tonight is the K-Wings last regular season game against their own division. On the season, the K-Wings are 28-6-4 against the Central Division, including a record of 6-2-1 against the Mechanics.
