IHL 2 Kalamazoo Wings

Countdown to Face-Off

April 1, 2006 - International Hockey League 2 (IHL 2)
Kalamazoo Wings News Release

Tonight will be the final meeting of the season between the Kalamazoo Wings and the Flint Generals. The K-Wings, who are 6-0-1 against the Generals this season, will look to avenge a shootout loss to the Flint earlier this week at Wings Stadium.

The K-Wings come into the game winless in their last two games and are looking to avoid tying their longest winless streak of the season. Kalamazoo starts the night six points behind the Muskegon Fury for the top spot in the Central Division.

The Generals playoff hopes took a blow last night, as Flint lost to Fort Wayne. With six games remaining on their schedule, Flint will need to win the remainder of their games and still get some help to make it to the postseason. A loss to the K-Wings tonight would eliminate the Generals from playoff contention.
