Going for a Baker's Dozen
Forward Jason Deitsch enters tonight on a twelve-game point streak. The twelve-game point streak is both the longest current point streak and a season high by a K-Wings player this season.
On a Roll
Both defensemen Greg Labenski and Daniel Carriere bring in lengthy point streaks into tonight's game. Labenski has recorded a point in each of his last seven games, while Carriere is on a six-game point streak.
Carriere Nearing Record
Besides the point-streak, Carriere is also closing in on a K-Wings UHL franchise record. Carriere, who has 56 points, needs just three points break the record for most points by a defenseman, held by former K-Wing Guy Dupuis (2003-04).
Eyeing Another Record
Coming into tonight, the K-Wings have scored 80 power-play goals. The 80 man-advantage goals ties the K-Wings UHL franchise record for most power-play goals scored in a season. The K-Wings established the record during the 2003-04 season.
