
Fury stops Mechanics streak at three

FRASER, MI-The Muskegon Fury score three unanswered goals and win tonight 3-2 at the Great Lakes Sports City Superior Arena in front of 1,124 fans.
Matt Smith started the scoring by netting his 16th goal of the season. Brent Gretzky and Chris Bogas netted the assists.
Muskegon then rallied for three straight goals and took a 3-1 lead late into the third period when Matt Smith again scored, this time on the power play. Peter Szabo had the lone assist.
Both Szabo and Gretzky extended their point streaks to seven games tonight by earning those assists. Rod Branch made his 51st start in net and made 25 saves in defeat.
Saturday the Mechanics travel to Flint to take on the Generals at 7:30 PM. Sunday the Fort Wayne Komets come into town for a Sparkys Birthday Celebration. Kids can get into the game for just $5!!

The "Name that Line" contest is underway as many entries have already been submitted. Fans have until midnight on February 28th to submit their entries to name the Edinger, Szabo, Gretzky line. The winning name will be revealed on March 3rd during the first intermission.
