Coming Up Short
The K-Wings have scored four shorthanded goals this season. While Kalamazoo has been able to score shorthanded, their opponents haven't been able to score shorthanded against the K-Wings. In fact, the K-Wings are the only team in the UHL not to give up a shorthanded goal this season.
Adding Up
K-Wings defenseman Greg Labenski has plus/minus rating of +16. The +16 rating places Labenski in a tie with Muskegon's David Van Drunen for the league's top plus/minus.
Production at the Point
Kalamazoo's Daniel Carriere has recorded 19 points (2 goals, 17 assists) this season. The 19 points and 17 assists ranks Carriere first among all UHL defensemen in each category.
