Kalamazoo Wings News Release

The K-Wings start their four games in five nights with an important contest against the Flint Generals. Tonight is the first home game for the K-Wings since November 24th. In next few weeks, the K-Wings will get very familiar with Wings Stadium, as eight of their next thirteen games are at home.

Tonight is the first of two consecutive games against Central Division opponents. The K-Wings start the night in third place in the Central Division, five points behind the Flint Generals for second place and six points behind division leader the Muskegon Fury, who the K-Wings will play this Friday night in Muskegon.

The Generals are one of the most physical teams in the UHL. Flint is averaging a league high 39.5 minutes in penalties a game. While Flint is physical, they also possess some finesse. The Generals have two of the top scorers in the league in Bobby Reynolds and Mike Kinnie. Flint added to their offensive arsenal last week by acquiring Jim Duhart from Danbury.
