For the third straight game, the Kalamazoo Wings will lace up their skates against the Fort Wayne Komets. Tonight will be the rubber match of the three-game set. Kalamazoo defeated Fort Wayne last Saturday, while the Komets returned the favor with win over the K-Wings last Sunday.
Kalamazoo will begin a three-game home stand this evening. The K-Wings are unbeaten in regulation in their last five games (4-0-1-0). With 39 points, the K-Wings are four points behind the Evansville IceMen for second place in the North Division.
Like the K-Wings, the Komets come into Wings Stadium looking to extend a streak. Fort Wayne hasn't lost in regulation in seven straight games (4-0-3-0). With 38 points, Fort Wayne is in fourth place in the North Division and is just one point behind Kalamazoo for third.
