PRINCE GEORGE, BC - The Prince George Cougars Hockey Club has acquired a 2022 seventh-round Western Hockey League (WHL) Bantam Draft selection from the Portland Winterhawks in exchange for goaltender Isaiah DiLaura ('00) the team announced today.

DiLaura, 19, played in 36 career regular season games in the last two seasons for Prince George where he collected seven wins and owned a 3.61 goals-against average and .889 save percentage. He also had one shutout. The St. Paul, Minnesota product was originally drafted by the Cougars in the eighth-round, 160th overall, in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft.

In another move, the Cougars have returned defenceman Keaton Dowhaniuk ('04) to OHA Edmonton's Midget Prep team in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League. Dowhaniuk was the Cougars' first pick, third overall, in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.

After today's moves, the Cougars roster now sits at 25: two goaltenders, eight defencemen, and 15 forwards.
