Cottonmouths Announce Tip-A-Snake Results

COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) teamed up with Kinetic Federal Credit Union for their annual Tip-a-Snake Fundraiser, held this past Tuesday night at Green Island Hills. This season's event was spearheaded by the Cottonmouths Director of Community and Media Relations Andy Luker, Childrens Miracle Network representative Anna Crossley and Kinetic Federal Credit Union representatives Wanda Rutledge and Brandy Hussey.

The announced total today came courtesy of Ms Crossley as the numbers came in showing funds raised in the amount of $36,939.10, an increase of over $19,000 from last season.

"From the beginning this season we set out to improve our results, focus our efforts and set a goal to raise $30,000," Andy Luker said. "Obviously we are thrilled with the support we received from our sponsors, donors, fans and local community."

The Cottonmouths head to the first round of the playoffs starting next weekend with dates and opponent still TBD. The playoff series will be a best of three format and information will be posted online as soon as details become available.
