Lubbock Cotton Kings News Release
*Kings are 0-4-2 in their last six games. They have allowed seven goals three times in that span. The last game, the Kings came from behind in New Mexico to send the game into overtime to end their four game losing streak.
*Lubbock will face red hot Amarillo on Wednesday night. Amarillo has won their last eight games and nine of their last 10. The Kings gave Amarillo their first win at home and started the streak for the Gorillas in a 3-2 loss on November 7.
*Big division week for the Kings. They host Amarillo and Odessa before traveling to San Angelo on Saturday. Twelve points at stake!
*Derek Holland placed on two week IR. He is able to return to the lineup Dec. 3. He was injured late in the second period in Colorado last Wednesday.
*Kirk Tomlinson signed Mike Bournazakis last Friday and will be adding two more in the next few days. Stay tuned for the pressers in the next few days.
