
Cotton Named CFL Lineman Of The Week

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats would like to acknowledge defensive end James Cotton for being named the CFL Lineman of the Week after recording three sacks and four individual tackles against the Ottawa Renegades on Saturday, August 6th.
"James has been a key off-season acquisition for us," said Ticats defensive coordinator Kavis Reed. "He has emerged as a leader both on and off the field."
The 6-2, 245-pound native of Cleveland, Ohio leads the Ticats with six quarterback sacks and has made 15 defensive tackles in six games this season.
Cotton and the rest of the Ticats travel to Winnipeg this weekend to battle the Blue Bombers on Saturday, August 13th at Canad Inns Stadium.
