Connor McClain Named the AKA Services Bucks Player of the Week

The Waterloo Bucks, a member of the Northwoods League, have announced left fielder Connor McClain has been named the AKA Services Bucks Player of the Week. McClain, a native of Waterloo, Iowa is currently a sophomore at Indiana State University. McClain hit .300, with six hits, three RBI's, one stolen base, and a double this week. McClain's week was highlighted by going 3-5 with two runs batted in in a 3-2 defeat against the Battle Creek Bombers.
McClain is currently hitting .333 with a team-leading 42 RBI's, 30 runs scored, and two triples. He has six sacrifice flies and 20 doubles this season, which is first and second in the Northwoods League, respectively. He is only one double short from tying the Waterloo Buck franchise record for doubles in a season.
