Condrey Joins Lynx Pen; Brito On Diabled List

OTTAWA - The Philadelphia Phillies have outrighted RHP Clay Condrey to the Lynx. Lynx reliever Eude Brito has also been put on the disabled list with a groin injury, effective Wednesday, April 18th.

Condrey, 31, had no record and a 2.25 ERA in five games with the Phillies this season. He split last season between Philly and their Triple-A affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, combining for a 6-4 record over 60 games out of the bullpen. Condrey has also played parts of the 2002 and 2003 seasons in the Majors with San Diego. This is his 10th professional season.

Brito, 28, has appeared in four games out of the Lynx bullpen this season. So far in this young 2007 season, he has no record and an ERA of 12.00. Brito also split last season between Scranton and Philadelphia. He finished 7th in the IL with a 3.17 ERA, he was tied for 2nd in complete games (2) and shutouts (2). He was Scranton's Pitcher of the Year in 2005.

This is the first season the Lynx are the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. Sunday, April 22nd is Kids Opening Day, featuring the legendary Philly Phanatic.
