TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors commence a four-game home stand with this morning's contest against Las Vegas. It's the third meeting out of 11 this season between the two division rivals, with each club picking up a victory. The Wranglers spoiled the Condors home opener with a 3-2 win, while the Condors rebounded with a 2-1 shootout win on Oct. 26.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
The Condors split a three-game series in Boise 1-1-0-1, dropping a shootout contest on Saturday night but winning 3-2 in a shootout on Friday. Saturday's game wrapped up a season-long six-game road trip in which the team stumbled to a 1-3-1-1 record.
The Wranglers have dropped five in a row for the first time in over a full season, since losing six straight at the tail end of the 2010-11 campaign. Vegas currently sits in 9th place in the Western Conference standings, three points behind the Condors in the standings.
CONDORS NOTES
The Condors have been to four shootout games this season, with a 3-1 record in those games... Bakersfield has been involved in three penalty shots this season - one opportunity for (a goal) and two by their opponents (both saves)... F Tyler Brenner (2g-3a) and F Jacob Lagace (1g-2a) both have three-game point streaks... F Peter Boyd has a goal in each of the last two games.
