Bakersfield Condors News Release
CONDORSTOWN, Calif. -The San Francisco Bulls (11-15-1-2, 25pts) scored twice on the power play and once shorthanded to defeat the Bakersfield Condors (7-16-1-2, 17pts) 4-1 Saturday night at Rabobank Arena.
Just 1:28 into the game the Bulls broke the ice, with C Justin Bowers finishing a 2-on-1 for the first tally of the night. Bakersfield continued to pressure the Bulls and connected on a power play with just over six minutes remaining in the frame. LW Jacob Lagace buried his sixth of the season into a wide open net on a feed from F Zach Cohen.
San Francisco controlled the play in the middle stanza, holding a 11-6 shot advantage in the period, and regaining the lead. C Dean Oullet put home a power play marker with just over four minutes remaining in the second to make it 2-1.
In the opening minutes of the third the Condors were on the power play, but a fallen defender at the blueline led to an odd-man rush for the Bulls, and LW Kris Belan converted for a 3-1 lead. A power play goal at 7:46 gave the visitors a three-goal cushion, and the final margin.
