Bakersfield Condors News Release
The Bakersfield Condors today signed F Dale Reinhardt, as announced by Head Coach Marty Raymond.
Reinhardt (RINE-hart), 22, recently finished his college hockey career at Holy Cross University, located in Worcester, Mass., in the Atlantic Hockey Conference. He notched 118 points (46g-72a) in 138 games with the Crusaders. His point and goal totals rank eighth all-time in the school's Division I history, and his assist total ranks seventh. Reinhardt was twice named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Academic Team.
"Although we're making a push for the playoffs, it's also time to look toward the future," said Raymond. "Dale had great numbers in college; he's a good scholar and has good skills. He's a center who plays big, although he's not a big man."
Prior to his college career, Reinhardt was a standout at Delbarton, a prep school in New Jersey, winning a State Championship his sophomore year and being named to the All-State New Jersey team three times. He finished his four-year stint at Delbarton as the school's all-time leader with 243 points.
In an additional roster move, the Condors released F Ryan Gibbons. He had appeared in just three of his 19 ECHL games this season with Bakersfield, after the Condors acquired him from Charlotte on Feb. 29. He had three points (1g-2a), all coming with the Checkers.
