SAN JOSE - The Bakersfield Condors (35-16-2-1; 73pts) raced out to a 4-0 lead after one period and doubled up the San Jose Barracuda (30-17-2-4; 66pts), 8-4, on Wednesday at SAP Center. Bakersfield has won 19 of 20 games and 10 straight on the road. RW David Gust (1g-2a) and LW Evan Polei (2g-1a) each had three points. With the win and San Diego's loss, the Condors are now seven points ahead of the rest of the Pacific Division with 14 games remaining. Bakersfield is in Stockton on Friday at 7 p.m.
