Winnipeg - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club announced today the team has recalled defenceman Justin Woods from its ECHL affiliate, the Jacksonville Icemen.
Woods, 25, has one assist in nine games with the Moose, and 18 points (8G, 10A) in 36 games for Jacksonville this season. The Fairbanks, Alaska native completed his NCAA eligibility in 2017-18 after posting 47 points (18G, 29A) and 105 penalty minutes in 133 games with the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.
The Moose host the Rockford IceHogs for games Saturday and Sunday at Bell MTS Place. Saturday's Autism Awareness Game gets going at 6 p.m. CT, while puck drop for Sunday's rematch is slated for 2 p.m. CT. Tickets are available at moosehockey.com/tickets.
