
Condors in the Community: Two Chances to Meet the Team this Week

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9:
Baby Cal will represent the Condors at Save Today taking place at Roy Loudon Elementary at 8:30 a.m.. Save Today is a national program promoting a safe and positive learning environment. Loudon Elementary is located at 4000 Loudon Street in Bakersfield.
CONDORS OPEN HOUSE
The Condors will hold their annual Open House, presented by Central Valley Physical Therapy, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Rabobank Arena. This is your first opportunity to meet the 2013-14 Condors.
Fans are invited to get autographs, take pictures with the players and coaches and welcome the guys to Bakersfield from 5-6 p.m. Following the meet and greet, watch the Condors hit the ice for intrasquad scrimmage from 7-8:30 p.m.
The event is open to the public, and admission is free with the donation of two non-perishable food items. All food will be donated to the Kern County Food Bank.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11:
Baby Cal will attend the fall carnival at Christa McAuliffe Elementary from 4:00-6:00 p.m.. McAuliffe Elementary is located at 8900 Westwold Drive in Bakersfield.
Colonel Claw'd will mingle with the kids at Downtown Elementary, 21st & M Streets, during their annual fall carnival from 5:30-7:00 p.m..
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 12:
Condor Account Manager Wendy Carpio and mascot Slapshot will attend FUN Sports picture day at Freedom Middle School from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
Meet the 2013-14 Condors in the lobby of Maya Cinemas from 7:00-8:00 p.m. The team will be on hand to take pictures, sign autographs, and mingle with fans and movie-goers. Maya Cinemas is located at 1000 California Ave behind the Rabobank Arena.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13:
Baby Cal will accept an award on behalf of the Condors at Dine in the Dark, a fundraising event for the Greater Bakersfield Council of the Blind from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
CONDORS PRESEASON GAME
At long last, it's hockey time once again! The Condors host the San Francisco Bulls in a preseason game at Rabobank Arena sponsored by My45 and KERN 1180 AM. Pre-season special ticket prices of only $10 for lower level, $5 for upper level seating, or receive $1.00 terrace admission with the donation of a new, or slightly used unwrapped toy to benefit charity in the R&D Leather Furniture Toy Collection.
Post-Game Skate with the Condors - bring your skates and take the ice with the team immediately following the game (limited skate rental available for $5 per pair).
