Las Vegas - The Las Vegas Wranglers, along with Head Coach and General Manager Mike Madill, announced Tuesday that Michael Lawrence has been named the team's goaltending coach for the upcoming season.

Lawrence comes to the Wranglers after eight years in the Ontario Hockey League, working as the goaltending coach to the Sudbury Wolves, Owen Sound Attack, and Oshawa Generals. Wranglers goaltender Mitch O'Keefe was also a client prior to Lawrence joining the team.

"In the hockey community, Las Vegas is known as the jewel of the ECHL, and it's such a great honor to be part of this organization," said Lawrence. "Having reached the Kelly Cup Finals in 2008 and 2012, I'm looking forward to working with Mike [Madill] and the rest of the staff to bring a championship to Las Vegas."
