TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors host the San Diego Gulls for the first of eight meetings on the season. Bakersfield went 6-2-3-1 last season against San Diego and was 4-1-1-0 on home ice against the Gulls. Four of the Gulls' six wins came after regulation with three overtime victories and one shootout win against the Condors.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Bakersfield fell in San Jose last night, 4-1, in a game they led after one period. D David Musil scored in the first period for his first goal of the season, but the Barracuda equalized in the second frame, and scored three times in the third period for the win. The Condors beat San Jose on home ice on Tuesday by a 3-1 count with C Josh Currie scoring the game-winner in the third period.

San Diego had two games in Tucson postponed earlier this week. They were last in action on home ice last weekend went they swept San Jose, including a 4-0 shutout of the Barracuda on Saturday. LW Zac Larrazza had a goal and assist and G Matt Hackett made 37 saves for the shutout.

700 GAMES FOR FLEMING

Tonight, Condors Head Coach Gerry Fleming coaches his 700th regular season game as a head coach with time spent in the ECHL and AHL. Fleming began his professional coaching career in Tallahassee with the Tiger Sharks before moving on to the Florida Everblades. While in Estero for seven seasons, Fleming guided the team to back-to-back Kelly Cup Finals appearances in 2004 and 2005. In 2008-09 he joined the Oilers organization as an assistant coach in Springfield, before becoming head coach in Oklahoma City in 2014-15.

TEDDY BEAR TOSS

The Condors 18th annual Teddy Bear Toss is tonight as 103,475 teddy bears have been donated to local charity since its inception. Condors RW Ryan Hamilton scored the goal a season ago and will attempt to become just the second Condors player all-time to score back-to-back Teddy Bear Toss goals. Condors winger Paul Rosebush accomplished the feat in 2002 and 2003.
