
Condors Help Raise Funds for the Children's Miracle Network

This Week:
Tuesday, December 5th: Condors players Todd Griffith and Danny Taylor will visit American Elementary to help pass out awards to students for their outstanding achievements at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, December 6th: Condors players Sean Venedam, Kevin St. Jacques, Tyler Scott, Kevin Truelson, Scott Balan and Josh Liebenow will help raise funds for the Children's Miracle Network at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital, located at 420 34th Street, from 5-7 p.m. Players will answer donation phone lines and visit the children in the pediatrics ward. Watch and listen for this event on KGET-TV 17 and The Big 96.5 KBKO as they broadcast from 5-7 p.m. To get more information on the Children's Miracle Network please call Janelle Capra with Bakersfield Memorial Hospital at 327-4647. Thursday, December 7th: The Condors will join KGET-TV 17 in the Bakersfield Christmas Parade from 6-8 p.m. Condors players Scott Borders and David Kudelka will be present alongside Condors mascots Colonel Claw'd and Baby Cal. The event starts at 22nd and L Street and parades through downtown Bakersfield. If you can't attend the parade the event will be televised on KGET (Ch. 3 cable).
Week in Review:
Saturday, December 2nd: Thanks to the Holiday Inn Select, hundreds of DARE students watched the Condors on a record setting night take down the Long Beach Ice Dogs 10-2, in front of 6,424 fans. This was the first time in franchise history that the team scored double-digits.

Wednesday, December 13th: Condors players Jamie Hodson, Andrew Ianiero, Rane Carnegie, Mike Hofstrand and Brett Lutes will visit children on the pediatrics floor at Kern Medical Center at 3 p.m.
Thursday, December 14th: The Jamison Center will be putting on a Christmas show at 3 p.m. and Condors players Steve Rodberg, Joel Irving, Todd Griffith, Alex Rogosheske, Andrew Oke and Shawn Thompson will be in attendance to visit with kids and sign autographs.
Friday, December 15th: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will attend Calvary Chapel Westbrook's Angel Tree Christmas to help pass out gifts and visit with kids at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 16th: The Condors will take on the Victoria Salmon Kings for an action packed noon game. This game marks the second Kids Club game and the first T.H.I.N.K. (Turn Hockey Into New Knowledge) game where students participating in the Condors educational program will receive a free terrace level ticket. In addition, Stay Focused Ministries is holding a Toy Drive to benefit local children and anyone who donates a new, unwrapped toy will receive $1.00 terrace admission to the game. Diego, from the Go Diego Go Show, will be available for pictures.
Just for Kids:
Saturday, December 16th: Kids Club members don't miss your second game of the season- Saturday, Dec. 16 is Kids Club Day! All Kids Club members will get into the game by showing their I.D. badge at the box office window. Doors open at 11 a.m., puck drops at noon. If you haven't picked up your Kids Club packet please stop by the Condors office, located at 1001 Truxtun Ave., between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. so you don't miss any of the action!
Baby Cal and Colonel Claw'd are looking for kids to join the coolest club in Condorstown for only $20. Membership includes a Kid's Club T-shirt, free admission to five games, membership card and exclusive gifts provided by the Bakersfield Californian, Bright House Networks and Wells Fargo Bank.
Parents can purchase the Kids Club corresponding ticket plan for as low as $54 and receive five (5) tickets for the Kids Club game nights, so that you can enjoy the game with your child. Sign up your child by coming into the front office located at 1001 Truxtun Ave or by visiting condorskids.com. Call the Condors Community Relations office for more information at 324-PUCK (7825).
