STORM NOTES

* Finally Some Road Love! Entering the weekend, the Toledo Storm had not experience much success away from one main street (1-4-0). Following a 4-2 setback Friday, Toledo got its road shoes working with a 4-1 win in Trenton. Add in a third period comeback Sunday, and Toledo finished the weekend away 1-1-1. The Storm collected 3 of a possible 6 points on the weekend.

* Defensively Speaking! Heading into Trenton, Toledo was facing the top ranked offensive team in ECHL (4.5 goals per game). Toledo held Trenton's offensive to just 4 regulation time goals while picking up a win and a shootout loss.

* Shorty! Toledo did allow a shorthanded goal in Sunday's game. That was the first shorthanded goal allowed by the Storm this season. They were also the last ECHL team to allow a goal while on the power play.

* Power Play! Toledo has scored a power play goal in 4 consecutive games (8-36, 22.2%) For the season, Toledo has scored 12 power play goals in 111 chances (10.8%), which ranks 23rd in the ECHL.

* Penalty Kill! The Penalty Kill Unit has stopped 100 of 119 times they have been shorthanded (84.0%). That ranks 10th among all ECHL teams. The unit stoned Trenton Saturday and Sunday on all 13 opportunities.

For the season, Toledo and Wheeling will meet 11 times. Toledo is 67-43-12 against the Nailers All-Time, including 8-4-1 last season. The weekend starts in Wheeling Friday night before shifting to Toledo Saturday night. Saturday nights contest will begin at 7:35pm!
