Omaha Storm Chasers News Release

OMAHA, NE - As if a Faith & Family Night Christian concert, a fireworks show and an Omaha Royals game isn't enough, you may marvel - pun intended - at what else awaits you this Saturday, August 2nd at Rosenblatt Stadium. When the ballpark gates open at 5:00 p.m. for the Royals' 7:05 p.m. contest vs. the Salt Lake Bees, the first 1,500 fans will receive a free limited-edition comic book, courtesy of Marvel Entertainment.

The book, entitled Triple-A Baseball Heroes, features Marvel Entertainment characters Spider-Man, Iron-Man, the Fantastic Four and the Incredible Hulk. The Marvel Super Heroes are united with Triple-A teams to protect their ballparks from the menace of the Fantastic Four's longtime nemesis, the Mole Man, and his creatures from Monster Island.

This is the second annual Free Comic Book Night that Marvel Entertainment has presented, with the exclusive, baseball-themed comic books only available at the 30 Triple-A stadiums around the country.

"We are happy to continue our affordable, family-fun promotions with the Marvel Comic Book giveaway," said Royals General Manager Martie Cordaro. "Fans can receive a limited-edition comic book, enjoy a game, watch fireworks and then take in national recording artist Mark Schultz - all for just six dollars," Cordaro said.

Faith & Family Night on August 2nd - highlighted by Schultz' post-game concert - is presented by Hy-Vee, Roberts Dairy, KGBI 100.7 FM and Cox Communications and also features a pre-game concert by local Christian artist Jared Bayless. The fireworks show is courtesy of Werner Enterprises.

Tickets for August 2nd remain the same price as tickets for most of the Royals regular season home games: $10 for Field Box seats, $8 for Reserved seats and $6 for General Admission.

For tickets, call the Royals ticket office at (402) 738-5100, or order and print tickets online at www.oroyals.com and at www.Etix.com. For details on the group ticket rate, call (402) 738-5105.
