Comets Finalize 2004 Roster

HOUSTON - The Houston Comets today finalized the team's roster for the 2004 regular season by waiving forward Vanessa Nygaard and placing guard Gordana Grubin (strained right IT Band; right leg) on the injured list.
The Comets tip off the 2004 campaign versus the San Antonio Silver Stars in the first-ever regular season game at Toyota Center tomorrow, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. The first 5,000 fans entering the arena tomorrow night will receive a Comets "Opening Night Cap." The evening's events will also include raising of the Comets banners in Toyota Center.
Tickets are available at Toyota Center Box Office or at most area Randalls locations. Tickets may also be purchased by phone on the toll-free hotline at 1-877-COMETS-WIN or by going on-line at www.houstoncomets.com. Prices for lower-level seats start at just $10.
