
Columbus Crew SC to Host Alumni Night at MAPFRE Stadium on Saturday

COLUMBUS - Columbus Crew SC is set to host Alumni Night at MAPFRE Stadium on Saturday, August 31 surrounding its regular-season home match against the Chicago Fire. Alumni Night will feature former Crew SC players in attendance participating in pre-match autograph opportunities, as well as in a halftime ceremony. Saturday's Alumni Night event is set to feature Mike Clark, Jeff Cunningham, John Harkes, Alejandro Moreno and Duncan Oughton among other former Crew SC players.
"Crew SC alumni are a critical part of the community and the Black & Gold family. The alumni's importance to the history and future of this Club is part of our identity," said Crew SC President and General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko. "For supporters, players and staff, this will be a fantastic opportunity to welcome alumni back for this match as Columbus is always their home."
Prior to Crew SC's match against the Chicago Fire, Black & Gold alumni will sign autographs at four different locations throughout the MAPFRE Stadium Plaza from 6:00-7:00 p.m. ET. There will also be former players in attendance at the Social Tailgate in the Stadium Club Tent. The Crew SC alumni in attendance will then be honored during a halftime ceremony, which will also feature original Season Ticket Members from the Crew's inaugural season. MAPFRE Stadium will also feature $1 bratwursts during Saturday's home contest.
