
Colts Deal For Another Goalie

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts have announced today that they have acquired goaltender Mavric Parks from the Kitchener Rangers for two draft picks in 2011.
Barrie ships Kitchener's 3rd round draft pick in 2011 back to the Rangers, along with the Colts 5th round pick in the same year.
Parks was 14-3-1-0 for the Rangers this season with a 2.39 goals against average. He was originally drafted by Kitchener in the fifth round of the 2006 OHL Priority Selection.
The six-foot native of Eganville, Ontario joins his third OHL team after playing with Kingston and Kitchener.
Parks is the second goalie the Colts have added at the trade deadline, they also acquired Petteri Simila from the Niagara IceDogs on Friday.
