
Colts Deal Centre Matthew Kreis to Saginaw Spirit

Barrie, ON- Barrie Colts General Manager & Head Scout Jason Ford announced today that they have completed a trade with the Saginaw Spirit.
The Barrie Colts acquire a 3rd round pick in 2016 (Kitchener's), 3rd round pick in 2017 (Barrie's) and a 6th round pick in 2016 (Mississauga's) from the Saginaw Spirit in exchange for centreman Matthew Kreis.
Kreis was drafted by the Barrie Colts in the 1st round (15th overall) in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection Draft. The Georgetown, Ontario native has appeared in 113 career OHL games recording 6 goals and 32 points with a Plus/Minus rating of minus -1 over his first two seasons.
The 6'0, 174lbs forward represented Team Ontario at the 2013 WHC U-17 tournament and will now move onto his second OHL club.
The Colts organization would like to thank Matthew Kreis for all of his hard work and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
