Last Week's Games:

(Wednesday, Dec. 30th @ Idaho) Colorado scored two quick goals to start the second period to claim a 3-2 lead, but surrendered four answered to ultimately fall to the Idaho Steelheads 6-3 on Wednesday night at CenturyLink Arena in Boise. Eagles goaltender Clarke Saunders took the loss in just his second start of the season, stopping 21 of Idaho's 27 shots in the contest.

(Friday, Jan. 1st @ Idaho) Forward Trent Daavettila and defenseman Adrian Veideman each registered a goal and two assists, while goaltender Eric Levine turned aside 28 of the 29 shots he faced in the game to lead the Eagles to a 3-1 victory on Friday. Colorado went 1-for-2 on the powerplay while holding the Steelheads to an 0-for-4 mark on the man-advantage.

(Saturday, Jan. 2nd @ Idaho) Steelheads forward Emil Molin scored the game's lone goal at the 8:01 mark of the first period, as both goaltenders stole the show in a 1-0 Idaho win on Saturday. Eagles goalie Eric Levine made 23 saves on 24 shots, while Idaho netminder Jack Campbell registered his first shutout of the season, stopping all 28 shots he faced in the win.

This Week:

(Friday, Jan. 8th @ Allen, 6:05pm MST) Colorado defeated Allen in their most recent meeting 4-1 on December 16th at the Budweiser Events Center. The Eagles and Americans have each won two games through the first four meetings this season.

(Sunday, Jan. 10th @ Allen, 3:05pm MST) The Eagles posted a season-high eight goals in their 8-1 win over Allen on November 14th at the Allen Events Center. So far this season, Colorado has outscored the Americans by a combined total of 16-9 during the first four games of their season series.

Upcoming Promotions:

(January 15th and 16th - UCHealth "Hockey Fights Cancer Weekend"). Join us at the Budweiser Events Center on Friday, January 15th as the Eagles will don special lavender jerseys when they battle the Missouri Mavericks at the Budweiser Events Center. These jerseys will be auctioned off during the game on Saturday, January 16th to raise money for the UCHealth Cancer Center in Ft. Collins. In addition, the first 3,000 fans in attendance at Friday's game will also receive a free set of trading cards, courtesy of Rise Broadband.

On Saturday, January 16th the Eagles will again be wearing their special lavender jerseys, with those jerseys being auctioned off during the game on the main concourse near the Water Valley Tap. All proceeds will benefit the UCHealth Cancer Center in Ft. Collins. Saturday is also UCHealth T-Shirt Night, as every fan in attendance will receive a free "Hockey Fights Cancer" t-shirt, courtesy of UCHealth.
