
Elmira's MacDonald Named AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Elmira Jackals' defenseman?Jacob MacDonald is the AMI?Graphics ECHL?Plus Performer of the Month for December after leading the league lead with a plus-minus rating of +13.
MacDonald posted an even or better rating in 12 of his 13 games during the month highlighted by a +4 on Dec. 12 in a 4-0 win against Norfolk and a +2 in four other games.
The 22-year-old has 18 points (8g-10a) and is a +12 in 33 games with the Jackals this season. His eight goals are tied for third among ECHL?defensemen.
A native of Fernley, Nev., MacDonald made his professional debut with Elmira last season posting three points (1g-2a) in eight games. Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons at Cornell University where he had 21 points (4g-17a) in 104 career games.
In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI?Graphics will present Jacob MacDonald with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Jackals' home game.
