Up next for the Fuel is a pair at home against the Evansville IceMen followed by one of only two road games in the entire month of January for Indy at Wheeling Sunday afternoon.
TEAM NOTES
In January, the Fuel plays 12 of its 14 games at Indiana Farmers Coliseum - almost the polar opposite of February when only two of the 11 scheduled games will be played at home.
The Fuel set a season high with eight penalty kills on eight chances in the game against Wichita Sunday
Indy tied a season high with five goals in a game against Cincinnati on Tuesday.
CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS NIGHT
The "Madhouse on Madison" returns to Indy on January 16 with Chicago Blackhawks personalities on hand to celebrate our NHL affiliate's 2015 Stanley Cup Championship! The festivities start in Grand Hall nearby Indiana Farmers Coliseum at 5 pm with special entertainment, food and beverages. The first 1,000 ticket holders in attendance will take home a limited edition hockey puck!
WINE, WOMEN AND HOCKEY! LADIES NIGHT WITH THE INDY FUEL
In conjunction with Women, Wine & Hockey Night on Jan. 15, the Fuel are presenting an entertaining and educational Hockey 101 seminar. Enjoy dinner, wine tasting courtesy of Oliver Winery and learn some of the finer points of hockey courtesy of Fuel players and coaches. The experience includes a special gift, the chance to win great prizes and a ticket to Women, Wine & Hockey Night between the Fuel and the Rapid City Rush. INDY FUEL LIVE
The next installment of Indy Fuel Live will be on Tuesday, January 5. Broadcast live from Sinking Ship 2 at 4825 East 96th Street 6-7 pm, Indy Fuel Live will feature head coach Scott Hillman and Fuel players. The show will air on Indy Fuel flagship station CBS Sports 1430 AM and streamed via www.cbssports1430.com or the TuneIn Radio app for your smartphone and tablet.
Those attending the show live will have a chance to help BattleLymes disease by making a $10 donation to the Green Army and the BattleLymes Foundation. Each person making a donation receives a t-shirt and is entered into a drawing to win four (4) tickets to an upcoming Fuel home game.

Rookie Mike Colantone scored his first professional goal for the Fuel's lone marker.
Fuel defenseman Ben Marshall was awarded a penalty shot in the third period at 11:25. Komets goaltender Pat Nagle made the stop.
SAT vs WIC 2-1 L
The Fuel went a season-high 8-for-8 on the penalty kill.
Ander Franzon scored his first goal of the season.
