Last Week's Games:
(Wednesday, Dec. 16th vs. Allen) Eagles goaltender Peter Di Salvo stopped 27 of the 28 shots he faced in his ECHL debut, as the Eagles evened their season series with the Americans at two games apiece with a 4-1 win at the Budweiser Events Center. Four different Eagles registered multi-point nights and forward Trent Daavettila extended his point streak to six consecutive games.
(Friday, Dec. 18th @ Utah) Utah goalie Ryan Faragher registered his first shutout of the season, stopping all 21 shots on goal in the Grizzlies 4-0 win at the Maverik Center. Eric Levine made his fourth start in net for Colorado stopping 29 of the 32 shots he faced on the night.
(Saturday, Dec. 19th @ Utah) Colorado rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the first period to tie the game, but Utah's 3-for-6 performance on the powerplay led the Grizzlies to a 6-3 victory over the Eagles. Trent Daavettila scored two goals on the night, including a shorthanded marker in the third period.

This Week:
(Saturday, Dec. 26th vs. Rapid City, 7:05pm MST) The Eagles welcome in their longtime rivals, the Rapid City Rush for the first game of a home-and-home weekend series at the Budweiser Events Center on Saturday. This will be the fourth meeting this season between the Eagles and the Rush. Rapid City won two of the first three meetings between the two clubs, but Colorado defeated the Rush 4-0 in the most recent meeting on October 28th at the Budweiser Events Center.
(Sunday, Dec. 27th @ Rapid City, 4:05pm MST) Colorado travels to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center to wrap-up the quick two-game set with the Rush on Sunday. Rapid City sits just two points ahead of the Eagles in the West Division standings, with the Rush residing in 2nd place and the Eagles currently in 4th place. This will be a meeting of two of the best penalty killing teams in the ECHL, with Rapid City ranked 2nd in the league at 87.3%, while Colorado enters the week ranked 4th at 86.8%
