Windsor, CO - The Colorado Eagles announced Wednesday that they have signed goaltender Eric Levine to a standard player contract. A 6-foot-3, 180-pound native of Wheeling, Illinois, Levine has spent the bulk of the 2015-16 season in the SPHL, most recently with the Louisiana Ice Gators. Levine posted a 1-1-0 record to go along with a 1.53 GAA and .959 save percentage in two games with the Ice Gators, including one shutout.

The 27 year-old goalie has already seen action in 10 ECHL games in his career, playing in one game with the Utah Grizzlies during the 2015-16 campaign. He has also made appearances with the Ft. Wayne Komets, Indy Fuel and Allen Americans. Prior to turning pro, Levine spent four seasons in net with Robert Morris University. He also captured a pair of CJHL Championships at the junior level with the Pembroke Lumber Kings in 2008 and 2009 and was named to the CJHL All-Star Team in 2009.

Levine is expected to be in the line-up when the Eagles begin a three-game series against the Wichita Thunder on Wednesday at the Budweiser Events Center.

In other transactions, the Eagles have also added goalie Steven Taylor as an emergency backup goaltender.

Tickets for groups of 15 or more start at just $14 per seat and can be purchased by calling the Eagles ticket office at 970-686-SHOT (7468).
