ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and the AHL's Rochester Americans, host the Norfolk Admirals tonight at First Arena on $1 Beer Night. The Jackals have won eight of their last 10 games while the Admirals have lost eight of their last 10 contests.

MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals return home to host the Norfolk Admirals tonight and Saturday for their third and fourth meetings of the season. The Jackals enter this week with wins in eight of their last 10 games while the Admirals have lost eight of their last 10 contests. These two teams met twice this season, once at the Norfolk Scope and once at First Arena. In the last meeting, the Jackals out-shot the Admirals 37-17, but the goaltending tandem of Nic Riopel and Ty Rimmer helped Norfolk to a 4-1 win. Tyler Currier scored the lone goal for Elmira, with Colin Jacobs and Nick Petrecki recording the assists. In the first meeting of the season, the Jackals received multi-point efforts from Mike Seidel and Cason Hohmann as well as goals from Jacob MacDonald and Kevin Clare en route to a 4-3 victory. C.J. Motte came in relief of the injured Sam Marotta and made 16 saves for the win.
