The Steelheads retaliated only 34 seconds into the second period with a goal by forward Taylor Vause tying the tally at 1-1. Eagles forward Kevin Ulanski fired a bomb from the top of the circle right past Idaho netminder Josh Robinson, 6:57 into the second. Ulanski was assisted by Eagles veteran forward Riley Nelson.
