Promotion: Pre-game rally starts at 5:30 p.m. tonight at Hooters in Ontario, "Pretty Little Liars" star Cody Christian will drop the puck and sign autographs in section 101 during the first intermission, and don't miss the Post-Game Player Party following the game at Boston's (located at 4th and Milliken).

TONIGHT:

The defending Pacific Division Champion Ontario Reign (2-0-0-0) will play the Florida Everblades (2-0-0-0) for the first game of a two-game series in Ontario. With two games in the books for 2013-14, each club is two-for-two. This is the only match up the Reign have against an Eastern Conference team throughout 2013-14.

RANKING ROOKIES:

The Reign and Everblades already have rookie skaters posting points already in their first two appearances. Ontario's Alex Roach ranks second in the ECHL rookies with three points, Matt White and Zach Bell each have two points apiece. Florida's Kyle Bonis and Carl Nielson have also netted two points in as many games. The only rookies in the league with game-winning goals come from these two teams with Yasin Cisse for the Reign and Maxime Langelier-Parent.

BEHIND THE BENCH:

Jason Christie holds down the Reign bench for his third season in Ontario. Christie is two wins away from his 400th ECHL win as a coach and on November 11, he will see his 150th Reign game. The Florida Everblades' head coach Greg Poss is a familiar face to Citizens Business Bank Arena as he was the Reign's former volunteer assistant coach in Ontario's 2009-10 season.

HOW THEY MEASURE UP:

The median height for both teams is 6-foot-1 but there will be a combined 19 players who stand 6-foot-2 or taller on the ice. The Reign's biggest player is Cody Sol, who stands 6-foot-5 and weighs in at 242 pounds. The Everblades have two players who are 6-foot-4 with rookies Austin Levi and Carl Nielson.

NEXT GAME:

The Reign will return to Citizens Business Bank Arena on Sunday, Oct. 27 to face the Florida Everblades for the final game of a two-game series.

Reign Drops:

The Ontario Reign return home on Friday, Oct. 25 when they host the Florida Everblades for a 7 p.m. game. This will be the first of a two-game home series against the Everblades who is the only Eastern Conference team to travel to Ontario this season.
