TONIGHT
The Bakersfield Condors return to home ice tonight for the first meeting of the season with the Stockton Thunder. The two Highway 99 rivals have an unbalanced season schedule, and will meet nine times on the season, six of which take place at Rabobank Arena. Five of the meetings take place between tonight and the end of December, and only once will they meet after mid-January.
ROSTER CHANGES
The Condors have made nine roster moves since Sunday, and tonight's lineup is expected to include four players that were not on the Opening Night roster a week ago. D Blake Kessel, and F's Michael Neal, Ned Lukacevic, and Ryan Garlock are all in town and prepared to play tonight. F Brett Lyon, signed by Bakersfield over the summer, was released by Abbotsford from his professional try-out (PTO) contract, arrived late last night and is not expected to play.
CONDORS NOTES
F Jordan Knackstedt has led the team in shots in each of the first two games. He had four of the Condors 15 shots in Saturday's game... G Tyler Bunz and F Cameron Abney were both a member of the Thunder last season when they were Edmonton's ECHL affiliate... The Condors have 15 players on their roster who are 6-1 or taller. By comparison, Stockton has six.
