Colonel Claw'd to promote Condors educational program

This Week in Condorstown:
Thursday, Jan. 8: Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd and Condors front office staff will attend a school assembly at Centennial Elementary School, located at 15200 Westdale Dr. at 11:30 a.m., as the Condors introduce the T.H.I.N.K. program to the students and encourage them to achieve their educational goals. It's not too late for your school to take part in one of the Condors two educational programs.
Thursday, Jan. 8: The Condors Coach's Show will air on ESPN Radio 1230 from 5 to 6 p.m. live from the Hungry Hunter at 3580 Rosedale Hwy. The Coach's Show will feature a Condors player and Head Coach Marty Raymond, and is hosted by the "Voice of the Condors," Kevin Bartl.
Friday, Jan 9: The Condors return to The Nest to take on the Alaska Aces for the 1,000 Gallons of Gas Giveaway, sponsored by My 45 and KUZZ 107.9. Forty lucky fans will be drawn at random to win 20 gallons of gas each, while one grand prize winner will win 200 gallons. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
Saturday, Jan 10: The Condors finish their back-to-back series against the Aces with the Condors Zamboni Pillow Giveaway, sponsored by Pirate 93.1 and Goodwill Industries. The first 2,000 fans, 5-and-older, to pass through the turnstiles will receive a cozy Zamboni shaped pillow.
Monday, Jan 12: The "Voice of the Condors," Kevin Bartl, will appear on "There It Is! The Jake Stevens Show" at 6:40 p.m. on ESPN Radio 1230. Bartl joins the show live every Monday to discuss everything Condors hockey. "There It Is!" airs at its new time from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Condors Charity work featured in Californian:
The Condors ongoing community endeavors were featured on the front page of the Sunday, Jan. 4 edition of the Bakersfield Californian. The article explored some of Condorstown's favorite charitable events and the Condors surpassing the $3 million mark in charitable donations.
Condors Kids Club:
It's not too late to sign up to be part of the coolest club in town and get into Saturday's game for free! Membership in the Condors Kids Club is just $20 and includes tickets to four more games (listed below with special promotion). You will also get to have a party with Condors players, free access to the Flashco Kids Zone, get your photo on the Condors website, receive a kids club t-shirt and other prizes. Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday with extended hours on game days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through at 322-2525, online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, or at any Ticketmaster location.
