Aces Announce Revised Schedule

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Alaska will play Bakersfield this Friday night at 6:00 p.m. ADT as part of the revised schedule the ECHL has developed for the remainder of the 2008-09 season.

The schedule changes come as a result of Fresno ceasing operations December 22. The Aces will play Ontario Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. ADT, followed by a pair in Bakersfield, the Friday game as well as the original tilt schduled for this Saturday at 6:00 p.m. ADT. Alaska will no longer play on the road January 12, January 25 or February 23. In addition to the game added this Friday night, road contests have been added in Stockton February 8 and in Phoenix February 21. The Aces will now play in Ontario February 22 and in Bakersfield February 24.

Home games on February 17 and 18, both scheduled against Fresno, have been reschduled for February 15 against Victoria at 5:05 p.m. and against Phoenix March 15, at a time still to be determined. For more information on Alaska's schedule changes, please log onto www.alaskaaces.com.

The Aces also announced that winger Mike Curry has been traded to South Carolina in exchange for future considerations. All three games in California this week will be broadcast live on KFQD AM 750, with coverage beginning 15 minutes prior to the opening face-off.
