Cohen Hosts Media Softball Tournament

El Paso, TX - The El Paso Diablos, Sodexo and El Paso's media are partnering up with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger for 'Media nights' and a charity softball tournament this season. On four scheduled dates during the Diablos baseball season, for every fan that brings a canned good or non-perishable food item to donate at Cohen Stadium to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, they will receive a free popcorn from Sodexo.

Here are the dates for the Stop the Hunger campaign (and their media night representative):

- Monday, June 10: KLAQ/KROD and Time Warner Cable

- Monday, July 8: KTSM/KDBC and Parks and Rec

- Monday, July 29: KVIA and Telemundo

- Wednesday, August 21: El Paso Times and Clearchannel

Also, the media are teaming up with El Pasoans fighting hunger and the Diablos for a Media Charity softball tournament to take place Saturday, June 8 and Sunday June 9 at Cohen stadium.

9:00am: Parks and Rec vs KROD/KLAQ

10:15am: El Paso Times vs Telemundo

11:30am: Saturday's Championship Game

Sunday, July 8:

8:30am: Clearchannel? vs Time Warner Cable

9:30am: KVIA vs KTSM/KDBC

10:45am: Sunday's Championship Game

12:00pm: Championship (Winner from Saturday vs Winner on Sunday)

The West Texas Food Bank/El Pasoans Fighting Hunger was established by a small group of local concerned citizens in 1985 to address the critical issue of hunger in the West Texas area by securing donations of surplus foods and grocery products for distribution through a network of charitable organizations dedicated to feeding the hungry covering 45,000 square miles in 22 West Texas Counties.
