LAS VEGAS - Tim Coffman, in just his fourth game with the Alaska Aces, enjoyed a two goal and two assist effort and the Aces demolished the Las Vegas Wranglers in a 7-2 victory before 4,144 fans at Orleans Arena on Saturday night.

The Aces, who blistered a season high 46 shots on goal and have 100 shots in the two games against Las Vegas, ripped off seven unanswered goals in response to a 2-0 deficit in the first period. Tommy Mele and Andy Taranto also registered three points each while Mark Guggenberger won in his season debut with 11 saves.

Las Vegas built a 2-0 lead early beginning with Chris Francis' wrister from the right circle at 6:21, followed up by Eddie DelGrosso's finish from between the circles just 1:05 later.

But just like Friday night, the Aces responded in mighty fashion after falling behind in the first period.

Mele's first goal of the season, a backhander from the bottom of the left circle, got the Aces to within a goal at 9:39 and Zach Davies followed up with 4:47 left on a feed by Taranto to the goal mouth.

Alaska outshot Las Vegas, 17-2 in the second period and continued to dominate with puck possession, claiming the lead on Peter Sivak's first goal of the year with 10:48 left. Nick Mazzolini connected with Sivak in the slot, who buried a wrister through Travis Fullerton's five hole.

Tim Coffman, originally awarded a goal at 11:27, helped create a scrum at the net and Dustin Molle whacked the loose puck in the net for a 4-2 edge.

Coffman's second goal of the year with 8:09 left in regulation expanded the Aces bulge to 5-2 when he successfully deked Fullerton to the glove side on a partial break.

Coffman then cashed in with a feed by Mele to the goal mouth with 4:14 left for a 6-2 lead, following up with a tape-to-tape pass to Taranto at the identical spot for a power play goal and 7-2 lead with 3:02 left in regulation.

Fullerton took the loss with 39 saves.
